Beach Ultimate Gold Medalists

There have been 3 previous World Championships of Beach Ultimate events in 2004 (Portugal), 2007 (Brazil) and 2011 (Italy). The 2015 World Championships of Beach Ultimate over March 8-13 will be played in Dubai, UAE, which will be WFDF's first flying disc world championship event held in the Middle East.

Five (5) different countries have won a gold medal during the last 3 beach events. The United States beach ultimate teams have dominated on the sand - collectively winning 9 gold medals (64%) out of the 14 championship events.

Beach Ultimate Gold Medals by Country

• Five countries have won a gold medal - Austria, Australia, Germany, Great Britain and the United States.
• United States and Great Britain are the only countries to have won more than one gold medal.
• In 2011, USA won a gold medal in 5 out of the 6 beach ultimate divisions.
• The United States has won the gold medal in every division except Mixed Masters.
