Week 7: Dune' It Poorly

Sludge's return to solid ground brought them to a new Silver Spring field - cOl BrooX school. A few days before Sludge was together on OBeachfrontX property wading around in multiple water sources (ocean, pool, hot tub). hmmmmm...water submersion.

The game started with Sludge stuck in vacation mode. Down 0-4, they found themselves in deep sh*tuff. Literally, there was whole lotta crap on our playing field. Despite being malnourished from not being fed by Joe the plumber the Chef, Sludge shrugged off the deficit to gain some sandsibility by scoring in rectangular shaped boxes marked by four cones. Much thanks to Mike who caught most of the scores in the first half. Down 5-8.

Halftime was loud like a bubbling hot tub where brown voiced their opinions on how to defend DLuvs. With no real D-irection, Sludge toweled off the first half & began anew.

Prune hands begone, Sludge shelled out 3 straight points to start the second half. At 8's Sludge had their chances by creating some D's; nevertheless it was a small respite until the vacationers would turn it over again and be frustrated by the opponent's O. Down 9-13.

What may have been accepted in very recent past as pallin' around on the sunny beach with a morning game AND an afternoon game; Saturday was downright terrorizing. Loss 10-15.
