Impressive Record by Toronto Rush

'What an incredible Rush record' is a statement you have most likely heard before.

Toronto Rush dominated the East Division for three full American Ultimate Disc League seasons. From 2013 through 2015, the Toronto c-rushed East Division teams from America winning 35 regular season games.

Toronto continued their winning ways in the 2016 AUDL season with 4 wins versus the American East Division...until...Toronto Rush lost to the D.C. Breeze on Saturday.

The Toronto Rush quirky win streak started and ended against the D.C. Breeze. Their inaugural league game was a win versus D.C. on April 20, 2013 and then were finally defeated on June 4, 2016 by the Breeze. (They lost twice to Montreal Royal during this stretch, but that's besides the point.)

Here's a look back at Toronto's incredible run.

2013 = 16
2014 = 10
2015 = 9

Probably more important to the Rush is their record in the postseason against East Division teams (all American-based); which is 4 wins and 0 losses - 1 win in 2013, 2 wins in 2014, and 1 win in 2015. Toronto is undefeated in 3 East Division championship games giving the Rush 3 consecutive East Division crowns.

By the way, Toronto currently sits atop the 2016 AUDL East Division standings poised for another streak.
